Rude Driver?

So I get my new silver F150 XLT 4x4 last May. Its clean and shiney. I'm cruising with my wife running an errand. It's a 2 lane street, speed limit 40mph...that has a merge sign for the driver in the right lane, I'm in the left lane...right!? Next thing I know this white F150 comes out of nowhere (right merge lane...) and cuts me off-like real frickin close? WTH....ohh good red light. I'm hot now...my wife's like take it easy, it's not worth it (I know she's right, and good thing she's with me). I roll down the passenger window(my wife's on the cell) and look this A-Hole straight in the face and ask him if he's fuc**** retarded. He's like what? I again I persistantly (ask) told him I believed he had dyslexia. Now I know road rage isn't the right course of action...especially in the AZ, but man did that fry my a**. My wife is freaking.....don't do it, don't get out (as my hand is on the door handle). Light turn green...and off he goes flipping me off as he bolts... This from a fellow F150 owner....where's the love? I just wanted to talk to him about it. :MMA:

Would seem that you're the one that has the issue....

IMO, the "bigger/better man" in that situation would have just let it go.

I get cut off all the time in traffic, and unless I really feel like what they did put me in some serious danger I just let it go, or I'll lay on the horn a bit. Honestly there's too many crazy people out there to go popping off at the mouth at someone you don't know.

You never know what you'll encounter when you go looking for trouble. Just look at the murder in Las Vegas.

I've gotten red hot on the road over people and their driving but I get extreme remorse sometimes after, especially as I've gotten older. Like what would happen if he wanted to shoot me? We don't have conceal carry here so the only people with guns are criminals. Luckily I've survived so far.

Actually I saw a guy yelling at somebody once and they were chasing each other all through traffic. In the end the young kid got out with a bat and the older guy peeled off.

Both them were driving beaters though, so who knows what the story there was.

This^ exactly, I had a similar incident several years ago, I'm cruising down the interstate in the right lane 70mph and am approaching an on ramp, I see this truck coming up and decide to move to the left lane to give them room and the dumb bitch behind the wheel is chatting away on her cell phone as she decides to cross all the way over to the lane I'm using, I had to slam on my brakes and hit the left shoulder to avoid pitting her. Man I was pissed beyond belief and others around me could tell because they boxed me in when I decided to jump back on the gas and confront the ignorant bitch.

I'm glad they did because right before she darted off the hwy exit I noticed a kid bouncing around in the front seat. Not belted in!!!!

Stupidity knows no bounds, brands, or reason. Best to just avoid it at all cost because it might rub off on you.

Oh and the F150 is such a common vehicle I wouldn't expect much comradery out of having the same truck

I'm very tolerant of young lady drivers... as my daughter drives. Thankfully she has good driving habits and excellent judgement. So when a young chick does something stupid....I just relax, shrug it off and think of my daughter. When a grown man is an complete idiot driver on purpose....first reaction is to confront. Most times I let it go. Need more patience for stupid-as* drivers. :timetocamp:

Don't matter woman or man when they put your life in danger, I have a family too.

Some people are born Darwin award winners, I'm not one of them and refuse to allow those that are to take me with them.

So, you pull up beside the idiot, roll down your passenger window and confront the man, with your wife between you and him, what if that fool pulls a gun.........
