Default 2022 Powerboost started doing this

My 2022 Platinum Powerboost which is 20 months old with 14,887 miles started doing this today.

Did anyone confirm it was a battery issue and is it the under hood 12V or the under backseat 12V which needs replacement?

Default Door lock

I’m not sure, mine has been very intermittent! My battery is about 2 years old, and I don’t have a rear seat battery!

Default '22 F150 Powerboost 22K Miles

So I did not get to speak to the tech, and the customer service guy was a little unclear... but, on the Powerboost, there is no alternator. There are actually 3 total batteries, one of which, a smaller one, essentially replaces the alternator and is used to start the hybrid battery. Supposedly there is a charging module for the small battery that has gone bad and is going to be replaced. No ETA on when the part is coming in, but the car is still drivable. Not sure why this would trigger a 12 Volt Battery Low Charge State notification. I would think all the relevant batteries would offer some redundancy for the functions not currently working.

In addition to the passenger proximity and door handle not working, my interior welcome lights do not illuminate and the powered tailgate does not work.

Just had mine in for service and supposedly there is a charging module of some kind that is malfunctioning. Sounds like it regulates the backseat battery.

Have brought the vehicle into the dealership and they have replaced the BCM once, and reflashed it twice. All three times, after a couple of days, the problem reoccurred. What I have also noticed, is that the fuel pump continually primes itself for an extended period of time, which leads to the battery losing power.

They called me yesterday and confirmed the handle was non functional when they tried it Monday morning. They requested I bring the other key for the truck to the dealership to try it. They were also very annoyed that I had given them a valet key and they could not get my owners manual out of my locked glove box. I told the guy I had never opened the owner’s manual as I had downloaded the PDF version and they should have access to the same thing if they needed it.

I took the other key fob up there, found my truck and tried it myself. No response from passenger handle, driver side worked fine. I checked the dash cam to see how long it had been parked. They parked it at 2:40, I got there at 5:20 so it fails less than 3 hours after being parked. Gave the other fob to the service advisor and told him it was currently not working with the second key. I heard nothing from them today.

puzzled traveler did you ever get this resolved? I have same issue with 2019 F-150 Lariat

Had this on my 2018, along with a number of other little electrical issues. Battery tested as good, but when I replaced it all my problems went away.

I had the same issue with my '21 F150 Powerboost. Occasional low battery notice (40K miles on truck) and the passenger door lock and proximity sensor didn't respond. The problem came and went; and seemed to be fixed when I stopped leaving USB cords plugged in. Then it happened again. I took it to the Huto, TX dealer and they found the 12 volt battery under the hood had only 2 cranking amps. I bought a new battery a month ago and it has not happened again. FIXED.

I'm in the same boat. 2021 Powerboost, only has 26k on it, but first the passenger door handle unlock quit working, then a few weeks later the drivers door also quit working. I frequently got the low battery sleep mode message. I have since (~ 2 weeks ago) bought a new battery (Walmart like the other threads have suggested) and also started using the Fan-5 method most of the time, and never get the message any more. However, the door unlocks (and locks) never came back. Is there some setting I can go in and adjust or reset to make them come back? Any other ideas?
