They probably used rivets where the back was unreachable. The cracking is a problem when using rivets through fiberglass. Use stainless steel hardware, Lowes carries a wide variety and it won't rust.

I wish that was the truth. Two panels identical, one riveted one bolted. they just had some ADD or something. Ya definatly SS this time. I don't like to do things unless it's the right way.

That's why I do all my own work. I even mount my own tires... by hand.
