New truck-uncomfortable seats
#81
Little loops and then finnally the long black clip and then unzip the sides. You’ll need some help to compress the foam and zip it back up when done so that it doesn’t put too much pressure on the zipper and damage it.

I find the cloth sport seats in my XLT SE to be very comfortable and they heat up real fast. Even when its 10 degrees I need to shut the seats off after 10min or so. I test drove a few Lariats with the 501 before making my choice and actually like my sport cloth better only negative I can see more attention is needed to keep them looking clean. For the record I'm 5'9" 170.

Like I said
Ok phippy, guess I don’t know why you commented here since the seats are good for you. This thread is obviously for folks looking for a solution for their seats because they DON’T work well and need ideas for modification.

Yeah, thought about that after I posted my bad. Wish we could delete a post in edit options.

So we bought our first new vehicle in 12 years, a 2017. F150 XLT. Love except for the seats. Drove it for two days now both of our backs are killing us. Not really happy about this. Didn't bother us during the test drive. Reading through this forum briefly it seems either get 10 Way seats or buy a dodge. Asking for some other options here. Trying a towel on the seat doubled up for more support towards the rear of the seat. Hoping additional cushion can be added if the towel works. Very discouraged. This was a huge purchase for us.
I'm going to be buying a new truck in the next 2 months specifically for trailer tow. Back support is something I'll be evaluating before I order it.
In light of your issues, I might ask my M.D. about this conundrum during my next physical. If it requires some tests or posture adjustments, so be it. At least I'll know what to look for or modify in my next truck.
It's still a great truck that you can make your own. Please share your results as you progress.
