When i bought my truck the mpg wasn't something i really cared a whole lot about, I'm content about my truck getting 13 mpg. the only thing i don't like is that my truck has the big tank and up hear in Canada i've filled it up for $170 before but a tank lasts me 2-2 1/2 weeks with a 20 min one way commute to work.

I like owning a truck, and that truck has got to be built by Ford. That's how it is. MPG's aren't the priority, but my '13 5.0L does get a bit better than the sticker numbers. So to me, that is an extra added value to the truck.

I make my living with my Truck.
Always got a thousand pounds onboard...
My 2013 F-150XL 3.7 Ltr is now giving me almost 21 mpg per the computer

My previous truck a Toyota Tacoma with the same load gave me only 21.5 mpg's
and had no power or comfort, would hardly get out of it's own way..

At 80,000 miles a year mpg's are important to me, but so Is safety and comfort.
I have that now.
BTW my 2010 Mustang Is fun to drive also XD

There are more important things in life than worrying about gas mileage.

Of the 30 threads on the first page of this forum, I'm not interested in 25 of them. However, I did not go into them and post that I'm not interested in them.

My wife has the SHO that gets good mileage. I still prefer to drive the '04 F150. It just seems to fit me better.

My 02 Highlander 4cyl 2wd only gets about 22MPG average. So when I upgrade to a 5.0L F150, I doubt I will care much considering what I get in return!
