My new ride
It is pretty basic but I paid cash and it won't kill my family and work budget.
I am still waiting to pick it up because I wired the money today, takes two working days to arrive and Semana Santa has started..... pretty much everything shuts down tomorrow until Monday, if not until the next Monday.
Oh, well, I have waited 4 years to put the money together for this so it won't impact my life so what is a few more days!
2016 with the V8 and tow package.... gonna be a fun project with roof racking, shell, undercarriage protection, wheels and tires and sound..... I have to say I am stoked.
I have the VIN so I am looking at seeing if Ford can tell me everything it has and doesn't have compared to the USA models.
Buying a truck here in Mexico is an adventure and options are very limited.... you do what you can and, $31,000USD later, well, I have my new project..... now for a 26' panga with T-top and surf racks....

Thank you
I get it Monday.
Already has the Nayarit plates on it and just waiting for that magic thing between Citibank wire and Bancomer to happen.... it will move tonight at midnight but they are closed after tonight, along with almost any other major business, until Monday.... they do Easter right down here.
I am going to try to arrange for the truck shell/rack, wheels and tires, undercarriage protection, very small suspension lift, gps and cameras to get all taken care of when I drive up to Oceanside in a month or two.
Gotta do my research so I only buy once and I buy right.... kind of like getting this truck!
I'd be lying if I didn't say I was excited!

Thank you.
I am open to any suggestions on skid-plates, suspension, wheels and tires.
I spent a lot of time punishing our 2001 Isuzu Rodeo in Baja ( it still survives here in Nayarit ) and we like getting off the beaten path safely and reliably.
If I could figure out how I'd post the PDF of the sales brochure. It is a bit different than the USA models.

The PDF files are probably too large for the forum's built in file manager. I can't remember exactly but I think max size is 250kb. You could take pictures of the pages, upload them to an outside host (photobucket, imgur, etc.) and then link them here.
