let me know if the link works. Apologies for the shaky camera, it's hard to get a good clutch dump with one hand on the wheel and camera and the other on the stick. This is all motor, without nitrous which I haven't used since I blew out second gear. edit - clutch dumped just after 12 sec mark, throttle let off around 105-110

The internals are still stock but those are going to forged after I rebuild the tranny in a few months. I'm very surprised with how strong the little v6 is. The heads are ported late model vortec heads, underdrive pulleys, flowmaster/exhaust, t.b. spacer, ported t.b., cold air intake, ram air induction and a computer tune. Next on the list is a merc. marine intake swap to get some more fuel to the engine.
The abs and brake lights are on ever since I upgraded my brakes, I bled them and it threw of the computer, there's actually nothin wrong with them. And the engine light isn't on also. As for taking a vid of street race, that's not a smart thing for me to do esp. since I need 2 hands to drive (it was hard enough takin that one). btw my dad is a huge ford fan and I personally like olds, so it's not like I'm a die hard chevrolet guy

wow seriously? please time that and set it next to any v8 truck. I think you'll be surprised. That was also third gear, I didn't shift to 4th (or 5th). When I take the tranny apart I'll show you the busted bearings and gears. It's bad enough driving it on a broken trans. I'm not dumb enough to juice it in that condition.
but heres the problem i eat 4.3 for breakfast. s-10 or 1500. and obviously your gonna be slower than the s-10 cause of the whole weight thing. the only thing that might have done some good was the porting, intake, cold air, chip.that would bump you up prolly 30-40 horses. but i dont think that would still out run my truck.

) It also has gun drilled axles, NV3500 (which only weighs just over 100lbs). Take into account it's also spinning less engine rotating mass and the truck only weighs 4100-4200 lbs to begin with. Like I said before, it's no syclone or typhoon or lighting, and I've gotten spanked many times from stoplight runs. S10's with a similar N/A set up will run high 13's (remember stock s10s have the early vortec heads). So if you've got that beat then props to you.But with spray on the hwy it's a whole different ballgame. All I wanted to do was find the friggin monster that ate up my truck and spit it out, I have a strong feeling the engine was supercharged but who knows

I counted 17 seconds from the time it came back up to 60MPH till it hit 110MPH. Lets say the truck is wicked fast off the line(for a truck) and hits 60MPH in 6 seconds. Thats a total of 23 seconds to hit 110MPH.
The other guy he was "racing" wasnt racing.

I'm not saying my truck is faster at all. I posted a vid, and yall can get a time to see just how fast it is. That's all. I'm tellin yall the 0-60 is embarassing I never used spray for 1st or 2nd gear (but I blew 2nd gear up anyway
