This worked on my 2012 XLT

Thanks!

Wow that's crazy. When I had my explorer I only had to pay $25 to the dealership for the code.

I went today and was quoted $50; thankfully, I found the sticker on the inside of the passenger side fuse box as shown by the photo which seems to be where the 2012's have it located.

I cannot seem to find mine. I pulled the kick plate and had two stickers on the backside of the computer (side that faces the passenger side door). The two stickers were labeled FoMoCo and had Ford P/N and Ford Kit P/N followed by a series of numbers and letters. I have a 2011, any suggestions?

If you see 5 numbers that are together try those. Mine didn't specify what the numbers were for, but they were off by themselves and not a part of anything else.

I tried both the 5 digit codes on the computer labels. Here is a pic of the labels that I am looking at.

I believe that is your CPU and the code you need will be on the BCM. I looked in my 2011 factory service manual and found the following.

" this code is available through the use of a scan tool and is printed on the BCM label located on the back side of the module (installed position)."

The BCM is the module that contains the fuse panel, located behind the passenger side kick panel. Hopefully you can see the label with the code. If not, being an 11, you'll need to pay your dealer to access that code.

Hope this helps.

Love the Ford key pad. Just leave the keys in the truck.
