I just bought a 2012 fx4 used and i am trying to get the 5 digit code but the original owner never used it and threw the code away and the ford dealer wants $130 to put it on there machine witch is just stupid does anyone know were i could find the code...

Ah damn. According to the manual, the key is only on a card that is with the manual, on a panel under the passenger kick plate, in the computer (via the 2 key method) or at ford.
If you don't have the card and can't find it under the kick plate, my guess is go the cheaper of the remaining two options. Although buying the replacement key is probably a better value.
I LOVE having this key pad, couldn't imagine not having the key code.

On my 2012, the code was on the front of that box, easily viewable through the fuse box panel cover. The code was on the box directly to the right of the fuse box. The label was a bar code with 5 numbers and a letter. The 5 numbers were the door code.
