My `15 KR has an overhead switch to shut off all interior lights. "I" personally have not seen a pickup since the `60s that did not have the cargo light come on when you open the door. & lastly, your truck must be different than mine, since if I try to leave the radio on, to wax the truck for example, the truck will shut the radio off after about 3 minutes with a message stating something about saving the battery.

That's what I've been doing, but I don't camp where other people camp, ever. My trucks are always the music source for often good-sized parties, and so I have to have the doors open. I'll know soon enough if the 2018s have "police dark" mode. If so, problem solved. If not, I'm hoping the fuses are specific enough to go that route. Thanks for the input.
