Am I the only one that likes Sync? I'm on my third vehicle with it and it's always worked well for me.
Say what you will about Microsoft, at least they aren't going down in flames like Blackberry. Why would Ford hitch itself to a cell phone maker that's been irrelevant since 2010?

My thoughts exactly, why Blackberry?

Blackberry is looking for a way back in to save their bacon. Ford bought their services cheap. Real cheap.

Naw, it works fine for me. But, I don't ask it to make my breakfast, and wash my cloths. I keep it simple, because I'm a simple (re. technologically challenged) man.

Because they are not looking at the smartphones but QNX, the real-time, highly efficient OS.

Basically when lives are at stake and it has to run 100% you run QNX.

I liked it in my 2012 XLT with an Android, iOS and a Samsung Rugby, and I love the MFT in my 2013 Lariat with those same phones again. Most of the issues I had with the 2012 were me not using it properly, and the latest system hasn't been anything but smooth and dependable.

So far I'm happy with my sync. It's not perfect, but neither are the others. My wife's Infiniti has some annoying features or lack there of as well. So far so good with the truck. That being that I have a 14 and I'm sure I have the latest update. Has everyone updated theirs?
