The parts, come from a variety of places- Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, USA and Taiwan (which is not China). The cast iron is frame is 100% USA materials. The pump is from the Netherlands. Their USA workforce is over 50% machinists.

That is still better than "Made in China with Chinese parts."
Taiwan is a part of China.

I've got a Walmart jack and a Harbor Freight jack. Both are great. My father has two expensive Craftsman jacks that are garbage.

Do yourself a favor and find an inexpensive jack. You should ALWAYS use jack stands for extra security anyhow.

Tooldiscounter.com has the 3 ton for $356.
I bought the Hein Werner but only got the 2 ton version. Trying to buy American whenever I can. I've had mine since 2012 and it has been trouble free. It's a heavy hunk of iron.

Hey peeps!
this thread exists already, so reviving.
Give me thoughts/opinions:
Daytona 4 Ton (https://www.harborfreight.com/automo...lue-56640.html) vs. Badlands 3 Ton (https://www.harborfreight.com/automo...ack-59136.html). I don't need it for off-road, just for home DIY work. My truck is up 7" and on 37s so I care more about the max height than just the tonnage.
I picked up the 12 Ton stands today to use with it due to frame rail height 21.5" .

If you want to spend $1000 on a jack, try this. I have the 2 ton model and love it.

I doubt I’ll ever have enough 💰 to spend a thousand dollars on a floor jack, especially when there are viable options that cost a fraction. Looks like that is just another product designed and marketed to people that just have money to burn to have the “best”. I love subwoofers but I’m not spending $10,000 for a MTX Jackhammer when a couple Sundown 15s will do the same for maybe $1,500… but back to floor jacks I’ve had my 3 ton Harbor Freight jack for at least 15 years now and it’s never failed me once it just works.

I have the 3 ton regular floor jack and it’s been adequate just have to use a wood block to get the extra height. My truck is 6” lifted (although I think it’s shrinking) and 37s.

You're JUST the man I want to talk to then!! =)
That Badlands jack with the extension piece looks like a really really good option for us lifted guys to be able to reach the rear axle(s) and the front crossmembers on flat concrete. I'm considering the 4T Daytona and 3T Badlands just for the reason I could not use a block then.
