He said he happened from the snow melting off his shoes. Don’t think that’s gone be a problem for me. The mileage doesn’t vary because I enter in my mileage once I install it. It’s not a 14in display either.

Your milage may vary is a saying. It wasn’t meant literally.

Its funny you came here with questions, yet already had your mind made up and did so after you ordered.

You were hoping for reassurance, which you didn’t find.

Good luck.

You haven’t said one positive thing since being here. Maybe you need to find some joy in your life. My goodness grumps.

There was nothing ever positive to say about the Chinese cluster. Good luck was the most positive thing I could say as I was being honest.

No one is grumpy, you’re just not getting the answers you’d hoped for.

Everyone on this forum uses OEM clusters when swapping. A lot go through livnitup as he builds, sells them and knows all about them. I tried to do you a huge favor by tagging him and having him add his valuable opinion.

A Chinese made eBay cluster is not something I’d waste my time with. When you’re driving down the road and the whole screen goes blank, how good do you think their customer service will be?

That said, you can have the last word. I have nothing more to say.

All I’m saying is that why not give it a chance? Not all are the same. Some may work and some might not. I’m just having a better outlook than you. I’m not too worried abt the money I can get that back in a week.

The ONLY reason I responded was so I would be "subscribed" to this thread to read what others here might say. There is a crazy amount of knowledge and experience here. No One is ever paid for their experience/knowledge, it is all free.

As noted, you should install your cluster because that is what you want to do. "Why not give it a chance?" It is only money.

Also, when you change your thermostat, water pump, plugs/boot or anything else, the only advice you will get from this forum will be to use ONLY OEM parts.

And if I’m driving down the road and it goes out, I’ll pull over and put the original one back in. No big deal. Not like I’m gonna die cuz I can’t read the speed for 2 mins.

Install it and let us know,

My concern was posted, I provided feedback and experience, my other concern, once installed, would said seller honor the "warranty " because the product was installed??

That could be used as tampering with a product. Many loop holes can be used.

But everyone at one point in life was the pioneer to install a product.. you're the tester, so test it .

It's Chinese. It's either not going to work, not work right, not work well or not work for long. Probably won't work when you need it most.

And... of course it may take out other things with it when it does down the tubes...
