the risk i was referring to has nothing to do with the purchase price (return value) of the cluster.

 

If price isn’t the risk, then what is?

 

well if it fries anything in your truck, the purchase price of the cluster will be the least of your worries.

Well good thing cars have changed since 1996.

 

Since you know it all, instal and let us know how it goes. And report back 6 months later and let us know if it’s still working.

I still say send back that Chinese junk and get a cluster from an upper trim. Much better when the screen doesn’t freak out and go blank.
