the risk i was referring to has nothing to do with the purchase price (return value) of the cluster.

Bad solder and boom. Shorted out the ecu on a 96 eclipse gsx

Since you know it all, instal and let us know how it goes. And report back 6 months later and let us know if it’s still working.

I still say send back that Chinese junk and get a cluster from an upper trim. Much better when the screen doesn’t freak out and go blank.
