I was told that the lift voided the suspension warranty, but not the engine and drive train. I think the warranty is seperated into different categories, so it's not an all at once voided warranty if you do some kind of mod. Different mods void different warranties. At least I think that's how it works. Also, the interior trim pieces, I found out, only have a warranty of 3 years or 36,000 miles. I know I got the 72 month, 72,000 mile warranty. I guess that's just the drivetrain though.

The only way anything gets voided is if they can prove that an aftermarket part caused the failure... This being said, if it was me, I would take it back to stock and remove the tuner... Dealers that don't know their ship will try to use the tuner thing against you for anything. I went through this after I bought my Mustang, they tried to tell me that if I had a tune that they would not fix the transmission, car only had 9K miles on it... Still trying to figure out what a tuner would have to do with the reverse gear going out in a manual trans?!?!?!?! The only thing I had done to the car (at that point) was new rims and tires, I told the service writer that he could reflash it all he wanted, it was not tuned, he tried to tell me again that my "tune" would void the warranty... He just did not want to hear that the car was stock...

In the end, the dealer is just trying to make money, they are a business after all... To fix your issue, no matter what it is, is a bigger money maker to do as client pay then it is to do as warranty... Just understand your rights and fight for them if needed... Just remember though, the easiest war to win is the one never fought, so just take the darn thing out!!!
