By law they can only void the warranty if they prove the tuner cause the problem.

yup, i was trying to think of how to word it. the tuner wont cause the handle to break so the warranty on the handle is still valid

Yeah but I dont think he is worried about the warranty on his handle.. he is worried about it voiding the warranty on the engine/drivetrain

What is the hex code? What is it for? And where do I find it?

just take it out and return to stock better be safe than sorry it only take a few minutes

It's the calibration code/strategy for your PCM. Read your programmer manual. If your hex code changes, then you know they reflashed the truck.

Isn't the truck lifted and the suspension's modified??? If so, doesn't that pretty much void the warranty as much as a tuner? Just curious, I had no problems when they fixed my AC and like I said before, the truck was lowered and had a CAI on it.
