That will only give you a visual to watch your sh8t get stolen.. Cops wont act on it.. 2 weeks ago my 8camera cctv caught a guy breaking into my truck.. Cops in the south aint like CSI Miami where you can take a photo and blow it up to see the guys face..

The thing to do is catch them in the act.. If not your stuff is long gone and the chances of getting it back is slim.. The guy who broke into my truck was spotted 4 times.. Even at lowes.. Cops are still drinking coffee and eating donuts..

They must not have seen the camera's, if they had they probably would have left you alone, get a sign and put it in the yard where it's easy to see, it's a good deterrent even if you don't have cams. Or move.

Down here when something happens the cops look for homes in the area with cams and come knocking, cops in Georgia must be idiots. We hadn't even moved in completely when some neighborhood cars were vandalized and they came knocking on my door looking for video evidence.

80% of an alarm systems effectiveness is the warning stickers/signs. Most thieves wont bother if they think there is an alarm system. They will look for easier pickens. I know of several people that dont even have alarm systems just the signage. None of then have been theived.

Exactly.

I hadn't had a chance to get my cams up yet but the sign was visible that's why the cop came knocking on my door.

There your answer.. The cop sits in his offie and call stores to see if they have cameras.. Meanwhile i drove down to the stores to check dor cameras.. My lowes card was stolen and the guy used it.. Yhe cop still has no positive ID..

This is why people loose faith in cops and take matters into their own hands
