I hear you, it is expensive. The cool think about the Foamee stuff is it evaporates pretty quick so it would be great for the garage.

I feel lucky if the roads are dry when I go to town and have a chance to hit the car wash 2-3 per winter. Other than that I have learned to just ignore my filthy truck in the winter.

I pretty much wash my truck any time it gets warm enough in the winter and it will stay clean for a while. I do it less now that I can't Park in the garage at the new house. Stupid house.

Some months I get 3 washes a month others none but I easily spend 120 bucks over the winter on washes. If I could spend 120 and do both vehicles all winter then next winter just buy the soap that would be awesome. Just need to reorganize the garage before I can get the truck in there. Big shelf platform thingy keeps me from pulling in diagonal.

I also have one of those extendable wands for reaching across the windshield, or for wiping the bed cover. Every time I go for a ride I'm using the California duster to clean the dust off the truck. I then have a loose towel that I use to give the chrome rims a quick wipe. So it takes me just a few minutes to do a "Quickee". Several times a week I'll do a quick spray down with the detailer to keep her really shining. Takes 15-20 mins.. If the glass is grimy add 5 minutes. If it's been rainy a little longer. Like I said, I'm OCD.....Lol....When I come out of the store where I'm at, before I drive away, I grab the duster and do a wipe, then wipe the rims. Or sometimes I'll do it before I go in. I do the same thing at the next stop. When I get home I give it another dusting and wipe the rims. That way when I go out the next time it's already done. If it's been a few days I'll give it another swipe. I have Cooper AT3's with raised white letters. Once a week I usually wash the rims and tires, and scrub up the white letters with some Bleach White. OCD?
How do you have the time for this lol

I'm in Jersey. We sometimes get more snow than Buffalo. This thread was for "in-between" washes. If you're salted up, wash that stuff off. I have a monthly at my local brushless place. If I'm grimed up, I just swing by and get it washed.

This is how cars/trucks stay nice looking for decades. People who baby their vehicles see longevity and hold their value.
