Damn. Usually not even forcefull collisions will bend them. Let alone by itself. Maybe some ******* got into your truck and but all his strength into pushing on it. It would take a strong dude to bent it like that though. I'm shocked by this. Not gonna lie. I've seen a lot of crazy things dealing with cars over the years but this is insane

I don't know how it got bent, but it sure as hell didn't bend itself. It would of taken a hell of a hit to do that kind of damage in my opinion, unless these newer steering wheels are a lot weaker than what they used to be.

I dont think the '09-'14 steering wheel itself are made any different from the '04-'08s

So the guy walks out of his house one day and his steering wheel in his locked truck looks like this, and it was fine when he last left it. Seems a little fishy to me. Steering wheels don't just melt and flop over. As a first post???

If you bought your truck used, it was definitely involved in an accident prior to your ownership. If you bought the truck new off the lot, it was damaged during shipping. Either way, I would be taking it to a collision place and get the truck checked out.

I agree. It probably was bent before you bought it, and you noticed it now. Either way, you need a new wheel.................
