Bent steering wheel
I. Came out of the house and noticed my steering wheel was bent inwards. What could cause that? No accident.. I weigh 165lbs so I didnt bend it. Tried to pull it back but it wouldnt move. Any suggestions?

Generally speaking, they don't bend by themselves. Takes quite a bit of pressure.
Are you the only one that drives it? |
Wow! Not even a head on impact would cause that, bones break before the wheel bends! It would take a prybar smack in the middle at the top and a lot of prying to do that, which would cause a LOT of damage to the plastic. This one is a mystery for certain.

Im the only driver. Have no idea how it could have bent.

I've seen pics like that posted but they were from guys that are twice your size and use it to get into the truck. That's insane!
The absolutely worst part is now that you noticed it that is going to drive you crazy. Maybe a good excuse to upgrade to a higher trim padded-steering wheel? |
