I ordered a Dee Zee for my current truck right after buying it. I love it. I've had drop and spray in bed liners in the past and like the mat much better. I never have any issues with the sides of the bed being damaged. I think I paid just over $100 for the bed mat and matching tailgate mat. Still look and perform like new.
I have put a DeeZee mat in every truck I've owned and love them. I remove it usually in the spring, spray out the bed, let it dry and put the mat back in. Guess that's a carry over from the drop in bed liners that would hold moister under them and rust out the beds. I can tell you, when I do take it out, there is a lot of dust and dirt under it.
I've also had the DeeZee bed mat in my last two trucks. (same one, just moved it) Absolutely love it. I just took it out for the first time in 3 years this past weekend to clean it after hauling bark mulch. The bed looks brand new underneath and the mat cleaned up beautifully.
I also put a Dee Zee mat on top of the factory spray in liner. My only complaint is leaves & dirt get underneath so I have to take it out & rinse out the bed once in a while. Otherwise it does it's job. It's heavy, stays in place, and very grippy.
The Dee Zee DZ87006 3/8" mat for the Ford F-150 sells on Amazon for $107.50 with free delivery. I have never needed anything thicker and heavier for my trucks than these.
My truck came with a bedrug when I bought it. It was really nice, but when hauling wood and deer... it gets kinda dirty and hard to clean. So I ordered a deezee one from amazon to throw on top of the bedrug. A lot easier to clean deer blood and fur and wood chips off vs the bedrug. Also, keeps things from sliding around unless you're whipping around corners real fast
I have trimmed off the edges of the bed mat to have a 48 x 78 inch mat which slides between the wheel wells and is much easier to take out and put back in than the stock bed mat. I do not need the mat in the corners of the bed.
BedRug bed mat in mine. I've owned these for multiple trucks. Keeps everything from sliding around, makes crawling around on your hands and knees comfy and cleans with a garden hose. No muss, no fuss.
Same here! My Bed Rug is 10 years old and still looks good. I use it mainly for my bikes also. I plan on getting the BedRug mat when I get my next F150! ( In reply to post #7)
