Brake Virbration
Hello folks.
Has anybody experienced an issue such as this one I am describing?
At hwy speeds when coming out to an exit, I tap on the brakes, the whole truck vibrates. Brakes fine, but this vibration is driving me nuts and I cant figure it out.
2005 F150 XL 4x2 5.4 Auto
Here is what I have done so far :
Both front rotors, calipers, and pads are brand new.
Both rear rotors, calipers, and pads are also new.
Both rear shocks are new
Both front struts are new
Stabilization links are new,
torsion bar bushings are new.
So I am not sure what is causing it.

sounds like a warped rotor to me. Have you checked the run-out on rotor ? I know you said they were new but I've had bad ones out of the box. Is this symptom new (was it ok before and then there after the brake replacement) ?
My money is on shot rotors also, even though they may have been recently replaced. I've been through this before myself, and I can state that the casting quality of your average rotor today (bought either from the dealer or aftermarket) can range from decent to absolute garbage. There's often no way to even know where they sourced a particular batch of crap rotors from, since they don't make them and just slap their name on the batch from the lowest bidder.
Have run-out checked, and then comes the fun part if they're out: Having to argue that their crap rotor castings should be replaced for free, while they'll claim it's your driving style that caused the issue (i.e. racing/stunting/dragging the brakes while two-footing the pedals).

No, it was not ok reason the rotors were replaced. This is the third set of rotors, just out of the box, same problem.
