87 wont start

Default 87 wont start

87 f150 wont completely start.. new pump works great outta gas can but hook up an no go... HELP !!! it use 2 run xcept when it got hot out an would die like outta gas after bout 20 mins. then wait 15 2 cool off then ok at times... read an been told may be the coil in distributor goin bad / gettin hot- i have no clue... help.. only ride !!!!

Have the ignition module tested, it's bolted to the side of the distributor and requires a special tool to remove. The tool is on the shelf at the parts store. It could also be the PIP in the distributor.
