Post starting problem

I have a 2000 ford f150 6cylinders. I tried to started yet it does not start. The panic alarm does not work, inside lights and tail lights don't work. The battery is fully charged, brand new.
Observations: When the door is open, I can hear a cliking sound in the fuse box, coming from one of the relays.
I believe the problem is the original alarm and a short circuit. Any answers are wellcome.

I have not added any new equipment, it just does not start and a clicking sound comes from the fuse box which is inside the truck.

fuel filter?? all the other problems r probably wiring issues like u thought.. i would think those relays would be in the engine compartment too, ford had them on the right side on the later models.. good luck.

Your '87 has 3 fuel pumps, one inside each tank and one on the frame rail. If it won't work with either tank then the frame mounted pump may be bad.

There aren't any fuses under the hood of an '87, just fusible links bolted to the solenoid and relays on or next to the air box.
