27K, for this?
You're also a year newer too. I'm sure no one would believe me that this thing rarely saw salt, although comments have been made about how clean the underside is. I'm sure geographics plays a part in it as well.
Maybe I'll kick it around and try a private sale like "moparado" suggested.
Whichever way it goes I won't be overly disappointed. And if all fails, I won't have to play psychology major with Mama!

www.kbb.com to get an idea what it's worth via trade in or private sale in your zip code. FWIW I paid $29.9k brand new 0 miles. Also 2wd and super cab which is less expensive to begin with.
When I was looking over the used lot they were asking an average 2k less with 35k miles. Made no sense to buy used for such a small difference in cost.

The 2014's we were looking at with 3.5L EB's in SCrew's 4x4's and found a couple.
One was a Lariat with 58K on it and the other was a King Ranch with 78K on it. The Lariat was in better shape than the KR but they were asking 36K for both. KBB said that was the going price on them in the condition they were in.
We decided to look at new ones and the one we bought was 41K so we decided to go new.

Unless one of the options he doesn't have listed is 3.5L EcoBoost and a change to KR, Platinum, or Limited then I don't think it would make several thousands of dollars difference would it?
The OP's and I went with standard options on a XLT with the engine etc. in his sig line.

I added the Tow Pkg that he has listed and from what I can see there are no other options that would matter.
All of the other things he has changed (lift kit, tires, wheels, etc.) would only make a difference to someone looking for them on one and not to a dealer... to a certain extent.
Now if he has some relevant options that can't be seen by us or in his profile I would assume he told the dealers and their offers would be higher than they were wouldn't they?

That rules out a regional factor in price, leaving only mileage and options as the key factors for pricing. Interesting.
EDIT: Just used the same options and changed the mileage to what my truck has (14000), BOOM we have a winner, it now comes out as $25,367.

As to my options, on the truck, nothing spectacular, just the trailer tow package, and that godawful "chrome" package, "XTR", that has been eliminated for the most part. OEM brake controller too. Mainly a standard run of the mill XLT.
Now if mods were worth the payback,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
