Gregsf150- I did and I hate the way it looks and was thinking about painting I with POR15 but getting mixed advice from people so right now still looking ugly

POR15 is very good at converting the rust, but it is UV sensitive so you need to top coat it wherever the sun can reach it. I think Duplicolor now makes a similar product, I saw it used on Powerblock, or whatever they are calling that Spike show now. I plan to get some myself and spray the underbelly of my truck.
