Default Damn Chrome

Is there any option to get rid of the chrome grill or bumpers on a Super Duty. I'd love at least color coordinated bumpers. To my eyes, all that chrome borders on hideous. I was hoping the FX4 package would do the trick but the build program on ford.com does not appear to change any appearance items except for the FX4 sticker.

Looks like the XL comes with a black bumper? King Ranch has bumpers that match your lower color of the two tone. Platinum was my choice.

Yikes! Huge price jump to the Platinum. Thanks for the info though. Sure looks nice but the price tag is too much for me.

cheapest way to do it is probably get them painted after you buy it. Or sell them and buy new ones to paint.

My last two trucks had painted bumpers that looked good but too many bugs down here to keep them from eating the paint up. Chrome is easier to keep clean at least in my area. Mostly love bugs and mosquitoes.

Paint matched Bedliner for the win.

You can always get them vinyl wrapped to match the rest of the truck. Doesn't cost near as much as paint, and it is removeable should you decide to go back to chrome.
