Disconnect it and see what quits working or run the part number off the relay and see what it works with. The relay might be bad or sometime else may be making it click.

find a wire diagram, and see what it goes to first. remember, relays are SUPPOSED to make clicking noises, all they are is big switches. if it were to STOP doing what it does, I'd be more worried.

are there any part numbers on it? if so, write them down, and get a spare.

went to napa. they called ford. the part is a relay for the carb choke. ford no longer makes this part and napa couldnt find an aftermarket option for me. fords last listed price was 150$ they agreed that the sound it was making was unusual and unusually loud. junk yard i guess.....

I would just disconnect it for now and see how it runs.... Electronic chokes serve very little purpose in the summer time... Only real use is in the winter for cold starts. My truck has no choke on it at all... Well it does but its frozen open.... And I haven't had a problem with it starting at all... Hell my truck starts quicker than most modern cars do.
