Default off idle acceleration issue

ok I didn't do search because, well because I didn't feel like it..

I just bought a very clean low mileage 1984 F150 short box.. every thing works and works great..
I have one I hope minor issue.. the truck is all original 302 and automatic

When you first start truck the first few min of driving it almost dies when trying to accelerate from a dead stop.. any tip or things to look at would be greatly appreciated.

heres a pic straight rust free

Is a 84 fuelie or carbed. If its injected id almost bet your down on fuel pressure. I had a different brand efi truck that behaved very similar . Rubber lines were very gummy and almost swollen shut. Pull the codes.

The it is the gray box on the pass. Fender. Im not sure about the grounded I just know if tue bounce very much they break. And improper voltage makes those older trucks act strage. I also might check the ignition module on tue drivers side fender liner

I also think it could be a timing issue, going to check it today.. just running down the list, the carb seems to working fine and the accelerator pump is squirting great..
