Default Made a 3-D printed Dash Speaker area patch

Tired of looking at a dry-rot hole in the dash speaker area.
What do ya think?

New speaker area patch, Front.

New speaker area patch, Rear.

Lock collar screws in from the underside.

Next to test dash. Cut out speaker hole area, leave the cross-ribbing hidden in the foam.

Installed.

Collar on the under side

That looks awesome. I used to lay a diamond plate sheet over it in my 80s trucks..

I don't have a printer. Sent the CAD file made for it to Shapeways and they printed it and shipped the product to me.
So now if anyone wants one, You link up with Shapeways directly for one.

So far, its very good. Flexible, and I've bent and twisted it by hand and all is good.
When I screwed in the # 8 machine screws, the holes didn't crack. just snug it down to your dash and your good to go! (after you paint to match, I like SEM interior plastic paints)
