You getting spark, fuel? Why points? Have you checked to make sure they haven't closed up?

Ya I'm thinkin that the points might not be opening because when I crank it by hand the arm its opening when the lobes on the cam in the dizzy hit it

Anew set of points and condenser along with a roter and cap should set you back about $30 just change them out it sure wont hurt any thing check dist shaft bushing for slop and set points at .015 and you should run.

Your saying you think they may not be opening because when you crank it by hand they ARE opening? I'm confused.
Pull the #1 plug, connect the plug wire to it, ground the bottom of the plug to metal on the motor somewhere then have someone turn the motor over. See if you have spark to the plugs.
Take the air cleaner off and look down in the carb while working the linkage BY HAND. DO NOT TURN THE KEY ON. If it's getting gas you should be able to see it squirt in the carb. Need to know what your getting and what's missing in order to know what's wrong.

I meant to say when I was cramming by hand the arm isn't opening. When I was cranking by hand the arm was not opening like I said the gap just needed set and its starting fine now
