Z plan rules
I purchased my platinum in January and it is now June making me have owned it 5 months. According to the z plan rules you have to own it for 6 months before you can sell or trade it. I'm in a delima because my local dealer has contacted me and offered me more than what I purchased it for. Has anyone run into this and would know from first hand experience what would happen if I broke that 6 month contract? I would not hesitate 1 second if I had already owned it 6 months.
Yes, I have my work car. I've hated this truck since I bought it. It's had 8 trips back to the dealer since purchasing it and it still has issues. Worst experience I've ever had with a vehicle and can't wait to put it behind me. I haven't drivin it since March because I am tired of it having some sort of warning light that can't be fixed.

Sorry you got a lemon! That really sucks.
It seems like a somewhat difficult decision.
You have a vehicle you can't drive that is worth more to the sales department than you paid for it. Unless the penalty is some ridiculous amount, seems like it's time to get it to the dealership even if you need to tow it.
Does this offer count towards your vehicle that has an unrepairable warning light?
Work with the salesman, or the manager of the facility making you this offer. Tell them what your concern is. Unless their hands are tied by Ford, it sounds to me like you can have a new truck tomorrow.
Given the fact you hate the truck and it is sitting in your driveway full of cobwebs, why not even consider finding out from FORD what your options are instead of here?
