Hoping someone can help me out with two quick questions.

1. I ordered an absolutely loaded 2022 Lariat, it was built in October and is due in any day. With everything I ordered, does anyone know if I should be concerned that ALL the options I ordered on it will not be included. They all show on the Window Sticker.

2. I know I ordered it with the highest package possible, but quite honestly, I have looked at so many trucks while waiting I could swear the package I ordered was more than 7400.00. I tried going on to rebuild the truck and I can't get a 2022 build site. Just looking to see if the 502A package was the highest I could get at the time. Seems like I ordered this truck 3 years ago!

Any help would be great.

Not an expert on the window stickers, but I believe any item that was part of the original order that is deleted during construction is supposed to be noted on the sticker.

Per the Ford order guide, Lariats are 500A, 501A and 502A.

Tremors are 400A, 401A, 402A.

Is this a Tremor? Don't even know what truck you have on order. Where is the WS?

 

Anything that was ordered and not added will be on a sheet that you will be required to sign at delivery, confirming that you agree that said options are missing.

 

Plenty of evidence here that Dealers are meant to forwarn customers of any equipment deleted from the build and get their acceptance

 

'22 402a (Tremor) should only be missing auto start/stop (if you didnt order it with that deleted) and possibly Ford Co-Pilot 360 2.0. I would think a 502a (Lariat) would be the same. And there are no higher packages than x02a, but there are lots of options that can still be added.

 

You should know and understand what your truck is supposed to be equipped with.
Add it to a list and have it available when you look at the vehicle.

I have heard rumors that it is not legal to deliver a vehicle with items missing from the sticker (or as noted above, will be noted somehow).

Just make sure you locate the features/option you expect. If it is missing, look for it on the sticker. If not, then deal with how to resolve that (I don't know what one would do).

 

Didn't happen in my case 22 lariat. Didn't get the bed light package I was supposed to get. Dealer never informed me it wasn't coming unless I added the new bed utility package.

 

WRT the Bed Light Pkg, the MY21 XLT's included bed lights as part of the 302A trim level. In MY22, the bed lights were stripped out of 302A and bundled with bed tie downs, dividers, etc in it's own stand alone option, but this was spelled in the MY22 order guide. So I didn't get the bed lights I would have if my original MY21 order had been filled.

The problems now is in MY22, things that are standard per the MY22 Order Guide, are being taken out after ordering and before production has begun or completed. Unfortunately, all the manufacturers are doing this.
