I thought in the first part of my question, I mentioned it was a LARIAT. The LARIAT was ordered LOADED, with a 502A package.

 

Thanks everyone for your input and advice. The truck is sitting in Albany, New York, which is roughly 2 hours from me. I was told yesterday it is going to be here by the end of the weekend. I will post my results on my LARIAT.

 

You said Lariat AND 402A, 400 series is Tremor, 500 series is Lariat. That's why there is confusion, and you never clarified which it was until post #11.

 

That was on the dealer, not on Ford (dealers are independent companies and not part of Form Motor Company). As Atlee mentioned, it was pretty plainly detailed in the 2022 order guide which your dealer should have been familiar with and should have had available as you and he were working up the order.

 

Different issue as this is not something Ford removed after you ordered and then you get a tiny credit. Ford just decided to move it to being an option so that they could charge more, and as stated above, this was noted in the order guide, unfortunately many dealers/sales reps didnt read the guides well enough before placing orders to catch this change. It also doesnt help that Ford doesnt get their build and price tool up on their website until months after the order banks open.

My intent was to clear up the confusion about your trim level, not to get you worked up. You are the only person being ****ty in this thread. I do not understand why you having poor communication skills is a reason to be ****ty with others. I miscommunicate sometimes as well, and when it is brought to my attention, I apologize and correct it instead of trying to make others look and feel stupid.

Your first post had a glaring error in communication, so no, it is not an assumption, it is reality. I don't need super powers to see that you aren't communicating clearly. Also, if you're trying to insult me, you gotta try A LOT harder than that lol.

The comments here make a good point. People don't know you and aren't sure if you accidentally type Lariat or you accidentally typed 402a.

Whenever there is conflicting info, users themselves have to decide how to respond. In this case, the answer is different for a Lariat vs Tremor (apparently). Can't really fault the uses here for providing inadequate responses.

This situation dissolves with a simple edit of post #1 because you know how most people read the original message then comment without reading the thread.
