What is level.
Its personal preference too. I find that leveling via measuring from fender to ground gives the truck a nose high look. Any load in the bed and it will start being out of level in the opposite direction. But thats just me; I prefer to retain a slight rake after leveling.
In general, 2.5" gets you pretty close to level. Theres a pile of leveling posts, even threads, that you can take a look at. Also try Custom Offsets gallery:

You can plug in a truck and see what it looks like with various levels/lifts/wheels/tires.

21 powerboost and mine was 2.5 higher in rear, put on a 2" spacer and now at 1/2" higher in rear, and have airbags to compensate for squat with load... Plan on getting leveling struts (6112's) in the future.

mine will probably never have a load on it. Biggest thing is a little 5x7 trailer with my zero turn and I've been having it 3 years and it's been on the trailer twice and once was the day I bought it.
You can remove the rear blocks and do a reverse level. It’s not perfectly level, but pretty close. I did this and love the look. If you google it you’ll get plenty of pictures of the results. Takes a half hour, and is free.
thay means lower the back down to the front right. I like the clearance from tire to finder well. Although I do like the word free. Lol.
