Default TPMS sensors - will prior generation work in 2021?

I'm getting a set of take off's to use with winter tires. I have a set of TPMS sensors from my 2018 I was hoping to use on my 2021. Does anyone know if they will work? The parts guy at the local dealership wasn't sure, but suggested that since there is a new part number for the 2021's that they won't. Hoping this is wrong.

I was told by my dealer previous gen tpms won't work on 2021....not true. I put the wheel, tire & oem tpms from my 2018 on the 2021 and no problems. It picked them right up, never had an issue.

I have been waiting on clarification of part numbers to get my aftermarket sensors.
I have some 2013 steel wheels 17” which i test fit. Plus i have 265-70-R17 toyo gsi-5 studless snow tires from my previous truck.

Good to know. I have a set of 2016 Lariat Sport SE FX4 wheels I got on FB Marketplace from a guy in Ohio, for winter tires (they are wrapped in 285/60/20 BFG KO2s) . They came with the sensors and work on my '19 Lariat Sport SE FX4. I was wondering if they'd work on my '21. Sounds like they will 👍🏼 If they wouldn't, I'd just let my son have those for his '20 and take the '14 FX4 wheels we got for his (again on FB Marketplace) and get new sensors.

I installed rims and sensors off of a 2019 on my 2021, and no issues at all.

I guess I'm an odd ball. Put on my Fuel rims with DuraTracs and I get this error on every startup. Bought the tires, rims and sensors new in 2020.315mhz sensors.
