Default Toolbox/ bed storage options

Hi everyone, just picked up a new 4door Styx with the small bed for work. I’m not sure how I want to set the bed up. My other trucks have roll up bed covers which I prefer but I need to put a tool box in this one. I’m not sure how to accomplish both. Looking for ideas on what others have done to their trucks

I wish someone here would post some real world use about these with photos. They seem like a great idea for straps hitches, tools, etc.

Couldnt find a toolbox/tonneau combo I liked.
I just went with a solid trifold and a 48 gallon Rubbermaid Action Packer.

I had the two swing out cases in my 2010 f150, they are quite handy and weather tight, but plastic, Only can swing one out at a time because they hit each other. In my current 2018 I just put a ratchet strap across from one box link to the other with e-track straps, then I put Wheeled tool totes, mine are Rigid brand from Home depot but any would fit, between the strap and tailgate. Easy enough to take out when needing the bed to haul stuff, Then my soft roll up tonneau cover rolls over them fine.

You could get one of those toolboxes that sit inside the bed instead of on the bed rail, or depending on what your needs are just put a couple Milwaukee Packout / Klein Mod boxes up there. If you feel like you have too much money, you could always check out the Decked toolboxes, I know a couple guys that have them and they are nice!

A decade or so ago, I bought a Delta tool chest which was incredibly useful for my needs back then. But it became a catch all for stuff.....So it lives at home storing all my spare parts that I've collected "just in case"......
