Default Storage boxes

I have a new 2021 F 150 Super Cab. I am adding a Leer Cab high shell and an aluminum Rack-it .I have an interest in some box storage bins that fit against and behind the wheel wells. They are billed Swing cases. Ford has a version with Ford emblem on them and American Trucks . Com has a version for about $ 20 less. My truck has the power outlets on the driver side at tail gate. The site says will fit up through 2021. There are supposed to be existing holes for mounting the supports. The side bed of my truck looks like holes are plugged. I would like to hear any input on these boxes. Are they a quality item? Do they stick out any further than the wheel wells? I have plenty of time . Leer does not have the model I am interested in yet. I think Ford shortened the bed by 6 inches. I was told about 4 months.
thanks for any opinions.

Ford definitely didn't shorten the bed, there would be rioting. I just got two swing cases made by Undercover from a vendor on the site, saved a bunch compared to prices I see anywhere else. They are very well rated too. I am getting ProPower, but another thread on here has someone that took a picture of the swing case and Pro Power. You can't easily get to the power outlets with the cases locked in place against the bed side, but they showed you can pull the case out slightly, access all the outlets, and have enough room to still close the tailgate and put your cover down with stuff plugged to pro power, you just can't lock the case back into position until you're done, but that doesn't matter much since you likely aren't going anywhere while ProPower is in use.

I just had the swing cases delivered today, got them from RealTruck, great service. This is the manufacturer for reference. https://undercoverinfo.com/undercover-swingcase

Not sure about your mounting holes being plugged, may have just done that when they sprayed your bed liner if you have sprayed in, and you need to remove the plugs. I have seen other '21s on this site in picture threads that show the holes are open, so I don't know why yours are plugged.

It sticks out about 2" more than the wheel well, by the way.

thanks for the two inch further. It looks like it would interfere with a 48 inch sheet of plywood.

THANK YOU FOR THIS

That wipes these off my list to buy. I'm not giving up a single inch of room between the wells.

It puts me back to the drawing board for under-tonneau storage space. I'd Deck the truck, if they manage to come out with a solution for the ProPower.

You just saved me some serious disappointment. thank you

Well...they ARE up off the bed a couple of inches and I have had (2) sheets of 3/4 plywood in there with no problem...if that means anything. You couldn't put in more than what would fit underneath the box...but at least you can do a few, or some.
I had that same fear as I haul a LOT of plywood from time to time.
