Splash shield
After driving in the heavy snow from this last weekend the felt covered cardboard splash shield underneath surrendered just like it did on my prior 2018. Snow and ice builds up on the top and the weight takes it out. I had replaced the one on my 2018 that failed on the same corner with a steel one from a company in Colorado. These cheap splash shields do not work in snow areas and I guess this is a case where the FX4 package would have been better than the Sport package.
I used the above HL3Z-7222-E on my 23, fits exact. When I had the dealer order it their system said that part was for a 17 Expedition? I used hardware store bolts and u-nuts and skipped the small plate on front. Jim
Thank you. I think i might go with the talon garage trans cover as it protects the cats, easy to drain oil with my fumoto valve. Costs more but its rugged
Well as it turns out I sold the truck and have a brand new not installed splash shield/undercover with the new oem frame nuts/bolts etc...HL3Z-7222-E
