Hello,

im looking for a small storage box/container that can be secured in the bed of the truck. Mostly for emergency/cleaning supplies.

something that doesn’t break the bank

Not sure where your budget is. I've had this box since purchasing my 2018 F150.

I’d look at plastic trailer boxes, perhaps aluminum that you can get at HF and elsewhere. Bolt them to the bed unless you prefer to strap them down.

Use a simple black Milk Crate attached to the box link system, holds enough, sturdy & easily removable.

Doubles as the 20# propane tank holder when transporting cylinder for refilling.

That's what I use too, but for some reason mine has the name of a milk company on it Lol. It's also useful as a stool to stand on to reach the bed, or to sit on to wash the wheels.

I also have the undercover swing cases. I keep a kinetic recovery rope and other recovery equipment in it, straps, stuff that won't be harmed by the hot/cold of being in the bed all year. The bed boxes are great, look great, and you can easily just lift them up and out if you need to reclaim the space they took up for some reason. They are elevated above the bed itself a bit, so you can still fit a couple pieces of plywood or whatever underneath if you needed to without taking them out. 9/10 product, only thing I think that could be better is less plastic used around the hinges. No issues so far, but long term worry about the reliability, But from other long term owners if you don't overload it, seems it's fine.
