Default remote start help

first vehicle I have with it. wife has had it on several vehicles no issues. My 2022 f150 lariat one remote works intermittently the second mostly not. dropped off t dealer today , salesman had no clue. it would start remotely then wouldn't do it again. this was repeated several times which is why I left it there. 80 miles on odometer,

I wouldn't have left it. You still have over 35,920 warranty miles. Surely this could have waited for the first service?

I just use the Fordpass app most of the time, as I prefer to leave the key inside the truck (gotta LOVE that Ford outside keypad!). I too have noticed a little inconsistency in using the fob, but I can start my truck using the app from anywhere on the planet, lol!

no problems here, definitely something wrong. I can start mine from at least 300 ft away. soon as I walk out of building at work I can start it... No phone allowed at work, so fordpass useless for me there.

Got a loaner, jeep Cherokee, starts from the upstairs window. The one remote on the 150 didn't do squat. It lit up red. The other wouldn occasionally start the truck but from no more the 25 unobstructed feet.

my keyfob works at over 300 feet as well, , it also works from desk at work, and it's 30 ft to the door - thru a brick and metal wall, and an additional 25 ft to the truck.

My fob works great. The app is useless here since the truck uses at&t service.

Starting the truck doesn't help half the time. The truck is just stupid. Yesterday I started my truck in 2 ft of snow. 25 degrees. Ran 10 minutes or more. Got in the truck and nothing was blowing. Seats not heating....Sometimes it works sometimes not. Best bet would be leave it on "last setting" and try to hit max defrost every time before shutting it off.

there is a setting for remote start you can change to adjust to the temperature. So if it’s cold, it will heat everything up, if it’s hot out it will turn on A/C etc. go dig through the settings, it’s in there If you can’t find it I will go out and check where it is. My truck is pretty smart. I have a 21 Platinum PB.
