It's on auto. There is a whole thread on here about mishaps though. At the coast sometimes it wasn't cool either. Usually it does ok. But sometimes it is just stupid

Maybe this is to simple but, did you try putting a new battery in the remote ? A new , good, strong , one ? Ford should pay for it of course.
