I picked up my new 2024 King Ranch on Monday. The dealer helped me add my truck in the Ford Pass app on my phone, but none of the remote start stop, door unlocking, etc. features show up. I tried removing the truck and adding it back, deleting the app from my phone, etc. All connectivity settings on sync 4 are turned on. If I log into my ford account on a web browser I can see mileage, fuel level, tire PSI, etc. So the truck is definitely talking to my ford account in some capacity, but this is how it looks on my app.....

Any advice before I call ford pass support? I read a couple reddit posts that the features showed up randomly a few days or weeks after adding the vehicle.

 

did you get the pop up on your screen asking permission for the features?

 

Yes, I agreed to everything that came up on my sync screen. I double checked that remote start is turned on in settings as well.

 

There is quite alot missing from the FordPass crapp!

 

Four weeks after adding my new KR to the app, the image and fuel range (hybrid thing, I suppose) just now showed up. Your screenshot prompted me to open the app again. No other insights other than it is worth calling the support number just so they get more metrics in their tracking system showing displeasure in the app.

 

Look what just showed up without me doing anything........took 3 days.

 

Same here and I don't know why.

 

Mine took a quite a few days. It came in a little each day

 

ford app is now.. not worth it. I took it off my phone.. they rebuilt it in a big nothing. It used to give you alarms when opened the door for instance. You used be able to load your receipts into it. All gone.. i would not spent much time on it

 

To me, one of the worst changes was removing the ability to see where your vehicle is, on an almost real-time basis. I could check it when it was moving, and each time I checked, all I had to do was update it, and it would give me the latest location.

Now I'm lucky if it updates once an hour, and often not even that. And there is no way to force it to update.

If anyone knows a way to make it update more often, I'd love to know it!
