Remote start features missing from Ford Pass app

To me, one of the worst changes was removing the ability to see where your vehicle is, on an almost real-time basis. I could check it when it was moving, and each time I checked, all I had to do was update it, and it would give me the latest location.
Now I'm lucky if it updates once an hour, and often not even that. And there is no way to force it to update.
If anyone knows a way to make it update more often, I'd love to know it!

Mine has done that since day one. I’ve always been able to see where it’s at. Never had any issues with remote start not showing either

I check location using the app. It shows at home. My wife then leaves to head to our weekend place, about two hours way. She makes no stops. I check it (for example) thirty minutes later, she should be 30 miles away, location still shows in our garage.
I completely shut down the app, and restart it, forcing it to reload all data. Check location: still in the garage.
It used to show me updates as often as I wanted. Now I'm lucky if it gets updated once every couple hours. Maybe there's some setting somewhere?
