Well since this thread has been resurrected, I’ll report that there have been no more random openings of my tailgate. I guess I just have hit the key fob.

Has anyone else had a random tailgate opening?

I had mine open into my bike rack while I was driving. I disabled the key fob button in forscan and it has not happened again.
