Default quiet the honk?

2022 PowerBoost Lariat- When I walk away from my vehicle (with the fob in my pocket) and it's running the horn honks. Usually I appreciate the reminder, but when I'm camping and using the generator mode I'd rather not have that happen. Is there a setting to control that feature? Or is there a way to work around it?

Leave the fob in the truck and hit the 7-8 and 9-0 keypad buttons after closing the door.

IMHO ForScan is the better path. There are literally hundreds of configurable things. The honk disable is but one. See the ForScan sticky at the top of this forum esp. the spreadsheet from @Livnitup of the most useful mods in Common.

Will the truck time out and automatically turn off if the fob isn’t in the truck after, say, 30 minutes?

Learned that I can leave one fob in the vehicle and lock it with the other fob. When I'm camping this weekend I can give it a real test.

If you leave the fob in, anyone can steal the truck if they get the door open. Code it away with forscan.

From the owner’s manual:

The system deactivates passive keys left inside your vehicle when you lock it. You cannot switch the ignition on using a deactivated passive key. Press the unlock button on the remote control to reactivate a passive key.

No kidding? I'll have to check that out. My '18 didn't have a fob and I'm new to this '23 model.

There are settings galore on these trucks. There should be one to silence the double honk.
