Hi, I had a different post yesterday but for some reason, it never made it beyond the either.
Been reading here and elsewhere about powerboost payloads. Some generalities are evident. Stay away from heavier options, if payload is important but some still surprise me to the downside.
Anyway, been exclusively driving F150s for more than 4 decades. This will make my 4th. 3rd. bought new but the first, where knowing payload in advance, is so important and as we all know, Ford doesn't make that easy.
Looked at lots of stickers and I have a rough idea but I'll just ask it.
Can a 4x4, Lariat 502a, SB, PB, with no other options but trailer tow package, 7.2KW inverter and 360 camera, be reliably expected to yield a payload sticker in the low 1500s or above?
Thanks.

I have tow tech, not trailer tow, BlueCruise, power tailgate, work surface, and under seat storage on my 502A and mine is 1,590lbs. I'd guess if those are the options you pick and nothing else, you should be around 1,650 lbs or so.

Thanks, I would consider that very happy news.
The whole purpose of this truck will be as a tow vehicle for a planned travel trailer / daily driver. Otherwise, I'd keep my still dependable 2001 XLT.
The trailer data is as follows.
UVW = 5313
CC = 2277 (there is no way we'll load it that heavy)
GVW = 7590
12.5% hitch weight = 950
The wife and I with a day bag = ~375
WD hitch = 116
Total minimum needed = 1441.
Seeing so many PBs at that or less, tends to focus one's attention. The prospect of laying out 70K for a mystery box, isn't appealing. One saving grace, is that the TT floor plan, lends itself to easy weight distribution to get closer to 10% if needed and the near guarantee, that we'd never load it to capacity. So, I expect to have some wiggle room but I'd also like to add a bed mat, tonneau cover, maybe floor mats and it would be nice if I didn't have to transfer my tools to the trailer every time.
Thanks again.

Going through the 2023 esource book, I get
GVWR of 7350, with max (base) payload for SB, 4x4, PB of 1830. From the 2021 book, I get options weight of 162, + the unmentioned 7.2KW inverter and some TBDs, mostly tires.
So, 1830 - 162 - 27 (?) - (?) = some reasonably small amount less than 1641.
Are charges against weight for wheels and tires, the single number noted in the book, or times 5? That would suck another 100+ out of the total.
Also, should there be a correction for the 30.5 gallon tank? 6.5 extra gallons @ 6.3 lbs per = another 41 lbs. disappearing.

I don't know how the poster above has 1590 lbs payload. Mine is 1409.
PowerBoost Lariat 502a - FX4 - Power Running Boards - B&O Unleashed - Spray in bed liner - Work Surface - Bluecruise - Basically every option but the twin panel moonroof.
I know the spray in bed liner eats up something like 50 lbs I think? The material isn't nothing, but keep in mind that if you get one with a 1500lb sticker by not doing spray in bed liner but add it aftermarket, your payload still goes down even though your sticker doesn't magically update.
I can't imagine there are 502a PBs with 1600+lbs payload though, most of the options you can add don't add that much to payload outside of some of the larger external items like spray in liner, hard tonneau cover, etc. But AGAIN, those things will consume payload even if you buy them aftermarket. So if someone strips their truck to get 1600lbs and then adds spray in liner, a 60lb tonneau cover, etc, they are no longer at 1600lbs payload.
Anyway, below is my actual payload sticker, which I suggest you request. I have seen a lot of people on here post their payload based on what the order guide lists as the max payload for the base combo truck (like Lariat PowerBoost Crew Cab 4x4) thinking that is their payload.

FX4 is TBD. I've seen it mentioned in the mid 20 lbs but can't really say.
Power running bds. = 57. 28 heavier than the 502a versions.
Bed liner = 50
Work surface = 5 (?) less?
Blue Cruise = No idea. A couple? Nothing?
Unleashed = 3?
Sure wish they'd update the book.
So, I should expect 100 plus a few, more payload than yours?
Yes, I'm aware that addons affect payload, no matter what the sticker says. Smile

157 vs 145 = 20lbs.
moon roof = 64
max tow vs reg tow = 26 vs 11
You didn't say which style trailer mirrors but they range from 14-21 vs pwr mirrors of 6 (times 2?)
No listing for unleashed. Whats your guess?
