I work at a metal fab shop so I could get the guys to fab me up something if you have an idea you like.

BTW, if you are interested in this, you can get it at almost $100 off with their sale and the coupon from retailmenot - I think it is rexing2024 - you should double check that.

Let me know, Cheers!
Thanks for the code. I just ordered one!

@henfield I got the hardwire kit that runs all the way to the fuse panel, so this should not be too much of an issue. But I totally get what you are saying, it would be nice not to chase wires across and down the interior liners.

@beardedcap I got the hardwire kit with the cam, I am hoping this will not be a huge install. I plan on doing the same, going across the head liner, down the passenger A pillar and into the fuse panel.

@bud150 So I like the concept of that mount as that little cubby up top is kind of wasted space anyway, but where my truck stays outside all of the time, I was hoping to put it up in a more inconspicuous location.

Got a Viofo a139, just mounted it on the glass behind the mirror. cable can be tucked out of sight and run all the way down to the fusebox without removing the A pillar if you do it right.

I haven't tried to pull it off or anything, but no, not that I can tell. I live in Texas too.

I managed to hide mine completely without even removing the A-pillar. it wasn't really that bad, you have to remove a panel on the side of the dash when the passenger door is open and feed it through down to the fuse box. Make sure you get the right fuse taps. I think they're mainly micro2. I bought the wrong taps online and had to hunt around town to find the right ones.

@ttnuagmada The hardwire kit comes with a couple of different fuse sizes so I am hoping it will work without issue, or at most need to get an adapter.
Thanks for info on getting the wire ran.
