I gave up on Valentine 1....too many false alerts (GMC suburbans, Mercedes, Audi w/ their cruise control) and all the other noise....not to mention is does very little when it came to radar (which is in wide use).

I do my best to stay outta the fast lane, and I try to find a rabbit and follow then w/ plenty of space....I watch for brake lights a head and I try to hide in traffic....pretty easy to do w/ all the dumb asses that get in the left lane and wont move....personally I wish law enforcement would enforce the "slower traffic keep right" or "left lane for passing only"....but that would be too easy!

FWIW....google maps gets its data from WAZE

I use Waze through Apple CarPlay and like the full screen option. It’s crazy that Ford can’t do a software update so its native navigation can go full screen and eliminate the side panel.

It does though. You can expand the navigation to full screen

Please show me in Map settings because I’ve been unable to resize it so it uses the entire screen. I can use the entire screen when I’m using other map applications through CarPlay. But the native application built into Sync 4 does not (at least in the version I’m running.)

There should be an "expand" icon in the lower right hand corner of the navigation screen that should allow you to go full screen

Ok, what I am talking about is called ‘proving a negative’

You are saying it’s good when the cop/backup/obstacle etc is there.

But if I’m tooling along on the highway and people are braking at highway speeds in the left lane, I’m gonna swear at them, then I’m gonna chuckle at their ignorance relying on a machine operated by the left side of the bell curve.

Also, the integrated system Sync 4 actually works great when it has data.

it could be improved, but it doesn’t have me stepping and fetching over nothing like Waze does.

That’s like, my opinion, man.

Use both Ford and google maps depending on circumstance. Don't know if I'll keep the Ford connected service or not. Haven't figured out what gets lost when it dies after three years
