Default Model year identification

When i see other trucks on the road, i like to try to tell if they are the same year as mine. I know from 2021 we have the “vent” on the front fender in front of the mirror. Are there other easy clues?

I see you were with the 25th. I was with C Troop 3/4 Cav 25 ID in Vietnam 1967/1968.

Small world, I was on Ford Island in Pearl Harbor with the 652nd Engr. Bn. (Topographic, Army), 72-74. Our Bn. were 'guests' of that Navy facility due to lack of available space at Schofield / Fort Shafter.

Mine is easily identified as a 21 or 22 because those are the only years you could get the non chrome 18” lariat wheels with painted pockets, and the non chrome package two tone with the painted front and rear bumpers
